There are two reasons that the Group goes out for dinner Friday night after services! One is that we are hungry; prayer is hard work. The most important one is that we want to be together! The choice of restaurant should not be the reason for several people to not join the group. One of the restaurants that we have been going to a lot is not my cup of tea either, but  would never think of not going!

Rhonda celebrated her birthday in the city of love, Paris. She is training to be a Docent at the Palm Springs Air Museum!

Bary Dank and Steven Edelstein were Bar Mitzvahed  in the same Synagogue on Long Island!

We are very lucky as an organization, that we have many people who have hobbies that we can pull from!

Friday night, May 10, was the last time for Soo Borson and Jake Wright to attend OR HAMIBAR services before moving o Orange County!  This time reservations were made at the Terrace Room in the Palm Springs Hilton. There were several tables of six.

She was given a certificate in a standing frame that said....

               IN APPRECIATION OF SOO BORSON

                      A WOMAN OF VALOR

"A woman of Valor, who can find? Far beyond pearls is her value",

She was also given a bowl made by  potter, Susie Ortner!

Then dessert and coffee were served.

We had a nice crowd of people and we were happy that Rabbi David and Sascha were able to join us!
